The filter technology of Hidroman keeps your machines and systems running smoothly. Effective filtration is essential for highly sensitive hydraulic systems to remain functional. Hydraulic Suction Filter
Suction filters are used as screen filters to protect the hydraulic pump in or on the hydraulic oil tank. They protect the pump from coarse contamination. Suction filters cannot be used for depth filtration. When sizing the filter, make sure it is not very fine porous. The service life of the filter is determined by filter fineness, size and design.
An incorrect suction filter selection can cause large pressure losses and cavitation damage to the hydraulic pump. Additional filters must be installed in the hydraulic system to protect against wear.

Hydraulic Pressure Filter
Pressure filters can be used as working and protective filters in areas of hydraulic systems where there is increased system pressure and load changes (vibration). Its role as a working filter is the general protection of the hydraulic system against excessive, impermissible contamination. They are used without a bypass valve with special filter elements directly in front of these components to protect components that are particularly sensitive to dirt, such as servo and proportional valves.
The pressure filter housings are designed to be durable to increase reliability. Filter housings optimized for flow technology lead to a compact design as well as low pressure loss.

Hydraulic Return Filter
With one-handed operation and lossless passage of fluid flow, double-switched filters offer the highest level of economy. It can be used in the low and medium pressure range or as a return filter. In this way, maintenance work can be done during operation.

Hydraulic Return Filter as Depth Filter
Return filters are generally used as working filters in the return line directly in front of or above the hydraulic tank. Their job is to filter all the hydraulic fluid flowing back so that system dirt is fed into the tank. In simple applications, return filters are often the only protection of the hydraulic system. Integrated bypass valves are used to protect the hydraulic system and filter element from extreme dynamic pressures and to prevent damage.
The use of the return filter alone in the hydraulic system cannot guarantee the protection of high quality components. Additional hydraulic filters must be used for this, since dirt particles are only filtered at the end of the hydraulic flow, after passing through the entire hydraulic system, by the return filter.

Mobile Filtering Units With Bypass Filter With Special Hydraulic Filter Elements
Mobil filtration units are used to fill, rinse and clean hydraulic oil and lube oil tanks and are essential for the professional performance of these activities. In addition, mobile filtration units offer a simple and inexpensive solution for bypass filtration. Special filter elements with particularly high dirt holding capacity ensure a long service life for the filter elements - this results in a high level of profitability. Spin-on filters as suction filters, return filters, and line filters
Spin-on filters are available in three different versions. Depending on the design, they offer the option of using as suction, return and line filters. Depending on the design, they are used as working filters as well as protective filters for hydraulic pumps and sensitive components.
The rotary filter consists of two basic components: a filter head made of die-cast aluminum and a heavy-duty sheet metal filter cartridge that can be screwed onto the filter head. When the element is replaced, this cartridge is disposed as a whole. A check valve integrated in the filter cartridge prevents unintentional leakage of hydraulic fluid when changing the element.
Due to the simple construction of the filter, a particularly high cost utilization factor is achieved. In addition, this system reduces downtime during maintenance work, thanks to uncomplicated filter element replacement. Rotation filters are used in both mobile and stationary applications.

Hydraulic Oil Management
