Hydraulic hoses transfer fluid safely through the system. Their flexibility means they need very little installation space. The HİDROMAN range includes elastomeric and thermoplastic hoses with pressure carriers incorporating textile or steel braid or several inlays of spirally wound steel wire. This enables them to carry media at pressures of up to 500 bar. Hoses find use in numerous applications in mobile and stationary hydraulics.
All hydraulic hoses for low, medium, high-pressure applications and suction hoses are manufactured from high-grade materials and are subjected to extensive testing.
High quality hydraulic hose manufacturing focuses on important factors such as reliability, durability and performance. Here are some important points to consider in high-quality hydraulic hose manufacturing:
Material Selection: For high quality hydraulic hoses, the most suitable materials must be selected. This often includes specially formulated durable rubber compounds and high-strength reinforcement materials.
Reinforcement Material: The reinforcement material placed inside the hose provides resistance to pressure. High quality hydraulic hoses are often reinforced with steel wire braid or braided steel wires.
Manufacturing Process: High quality hydraulic hoses must be produced with rigorous manufacturing procedures and quality control processes. Quality control must be carried out at every step and the compliance of the products with the standards must be ensured.
Pressure Rating: The technical specifications of the manufactured hose, such as working pressure and burst pressure, must comply with the requirements of the application. This is critical for security and performance.
Design for Application Area: Hydraulic hoses can have different requirements for various applications. A high-quality hose fabrication must be designed to meet the specific requirements for specific industrial or commercial applications.
Certification and Standards: It is important that the hydraulic hoses produced have appropriate certifications to ensure that they comply with international standards. This ensures the quality and reliability of the product.
High quality hydraulic hose manufacturing, combined with correct material selection, meticulous production processes and quality control, ensures the emergence of long-lasting, reliable and high-performance products.
Elastomeric hydraulic hoses excel through their good resistance to oils and ageing and retain their flexibility, even at temperatures down to -40 °C. The advantages of thermoplastic hoses include their low weight, excellent chemical resistance and flexibility. Elastomeric and thermoplastic hoses are extremely resistant to UV radiation and have high impulse load strength.
Two different types of winding are used for the steel reinforcement in the pressure carrier layer. Woven steel wires are used for braided hoses. The braid around the core layer of the hose is formed by weaving the wire alternately in two different directions. With spiral reinforced hoses, steel wire is wound around the inner layer. By using up to six layers, this form of construction is suitable for high pressures up to 500 bar. In the case of textile reinforced hoses, high-tech synthetic fibres such as aramid provide very good pressure stability. In addition, these hoses are flexible and light and are used in low-pressure applications up to 100 bar.
All hydraulic hoses from the HİDROMAN product range are regularly tested on in-house impulse and burst pressure test benches as part of our quality assurance system. HİDROMAN is also able to test hydraulic hoses and hydraulic hose/fitting combinations made to fulfil the customer’s specific requirements, such as suitability for higher pressures or alternative use scenarios. We also do not disappoint when it comes to availability. As Europe’s biggest hydraulics dealer and system supplier, we can count on our two main warehouses and network of branches to guarantee excellent availability.
With its own testing laboratory, two central warehouses and an extensive network of branches, HİDROMAN can fulfil all customer wishes quickly and reliably.
Hydraulic hoses are important components widely used in many industrial and commercial applications and have a number of advantages:
High Pressure Resistance: Hydraulic hoses can generally operate under high pressure. This feature allows them to be used powerfully and effectively in hydraulic systems.
Flexibility: Hydraulic hoses are flexible, giving them the ability to rotate, bend and move in complex systems. This increases its suitability for different applications.
Long Life: Quality hydraulic hoses can last for a long time because they are made of durable materials. This ensures that the systems require less maintenance.
Fast and Precise Movement: Hydraulic systems can quickly transfer power and movement through hydraulic hoses. This enables fast and precise control of systems.
Compatibility with Various Applications: Hydraulic hoses can be used in many different industries and applications, from agricultural machinery to construction equipment. This allows them to have a wide range of uses.
Less Noise: Hydraulic systems can operate more quietly compared to pneumatic systems. This reduces noise in the work environment and provides a more comfortable work environment.
High Efficiency: Hydraulic systems generally provide high efficiency. This saves energy and labor and makes the systems more economical.
Safety: Quality hydraulic hoses are produced in accordance with safety standards and minimize negative situations such as explosion or leakage. This is important for occupational safety.
These advantages enable hydraulic hoses to have a wide range of uses and are considered an essential component in many industries.
