Hydraulic Cylinder Definition

Hydraulic Cylinders are circuit elements that convert hydraulic energy to mechanical energy in the hydraulic circuit and obtain linear motion and force.

Hydraulic cylinders are used in different types and sizes in the market. Various hydraulic cylinders such as single-acting, double-acting, tandem, telescopic are used in different applications according to their intended use.

The Most Preferred hydraulic cylinder type is double-acting single-shaft cylinders. In the picture in Figure 1, a cylinder can be seen as an example. Although many different names such as piston and similar are used for hydraulic cylinders in the market, the name Hydraulic Cylinder is used in fluid power terminology.
