Hydraulic System Maintenance Instruction and Hydraulic System Commissioning Instruction
GOAL:
To prevent sudden breakdowns and stoppages by ensuring planned maintenance of hydraulic system equipment.
RESPONSIBLE:
Maintenance Staff
SCOPE:
All Hydraulic Systems
APPLICATION:
In order for a hydraulic system to work properly and be efficient, the given assembly, operating advice and recommendations must be strictly followed. Necessary measures should be taken for the cleaning of all hydraulic circuit elements. The oil used must comply with international norms in terms of both service life and cleanliness. The hydraulic oil type approved in a hydraulic system is ISO-32-100 and the same brand and type of oil should be used during the first start-up and for possible reinforcements that may occur in the future. (Example: Shell Tellus 32, 46, 68, 100)
Hydraulic Filtration and Flushing:
In order for the hydraulic system to be put into operation and to maintain its performance, after the installation of the installation, the hydraulic oil tank, hydraulic pipe and hydraulic hose installation should be washed (Flushing), and the hydraulic filtration process should be performed by filtering the oil to be used in the following norms depending on the application. In this context, the cleaning classes of hydraulic equipment used in international norms are specified as follows.
On-off Valves ISO 19/17/14 | NAS 8
Proportional Valves ISO 17/15/12 | NAS 6
Servo Valves ISO 15/13/10 | NAS 4
Operating the Hydraulic System, Commissioning:
The motor must be driven in accordance with the rotation direction of the hydraulic pump. The suitability of the electrically operated device and the motor with the supply voltage and amperage should be checked. All technical specifications of the Hydraulic Power Unit are available on the label on the Hydraulic Oil tank. Hydraulic Power Unit manufacturers Hydraulic circuit diagram, Maintenance and Commissioning instructions are given. Necessary checks should be made within these instructions.
Direction of Rotation of Hydraulic Pump:
The suitability of the direction of rotation is checked by the octane on the electric motor or, if not, the octane on the pump. Before connecting the motor to the pump, its direction should be determined by turning it idly. Reversing the pump will damage the pump.
Hydraulic Oil Filling:
Before the first move, the oil models recommended above are filled with the Seide RK91 Mobil Filtration machine through the ventilation and filling cap on the hydraulic oil tank and observed from the temperature and level indicator on the front surface of the tank. After the oil filling to the level line is completed, the hydraulic system is operated to fill the hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pipe and hydraulic hoses with oil. After the hydraulic oil is filled into the hydraulic equipment, the hydraulic oil is topped up on the level indicator. Oil-free operation of the Hydraulic System will damage the hydraulic pump and hydraulic system equipment. For this reason, the oil level must be checked at periodic checks.
Adjusting Hydraulic System Pressure:
Hydraulic system pressure adjustments are made while the pump is running at its normal speed. Hydraulic pressure adjustments should be made approximately 10 bar above the working pressure of the system. Higher setting values adversely affect operating efficiency. Hydraulic pressure adjustment should be made by slowly raising hydraulic equipment such as hydraulic cylinders or hydromotors (after completing the hydraulic stroke. After the desired hydraulic pressure adjustments are made, it is fixed with the help of lock nuts. These pressure values are not changed unless necessary.
Hydraulic System Ideal Working Temperature:
The ideal operating temperature of the hydraulic system is 20-60 ° C, and necessary precautions should be taken if this value is exceeded.
Routine Hydraulic System Controls
Pump - motor connection should be checked at normal operating pressure and temperature.
Connection bolts and nuts, directional control valves, pressure control valves and settings of flow control valves and lock nuts should be checked.
Hydraulic oil temperature and hydraulic oil level should be checked.
Hydraulic suction and hydraulic return line filters should be checked. In particular, the return line filter indicator should be replaced before it reaches the “red” zone. The same procedure should be applied to the pressure line filter, if any.
The hydraulic pump suction filter (3 months) should be cleaned with controls and changed when necessary.
Sealing gaskets etc. available in the hydraulic system. Critical elements such as Leaks, if any, should be eliminated.
Hydraulic circuit elements must be protected against external influences (water, humidity, impact, etc.).
In case of malfunction, Hidroman Hidrolik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. or Seide Makine A.Ş. should be applied to.
