The most important thing to remember before starting any work on hydraulic systems in hydraulic systems is: Safety of You and Your Environment.
Hazards of Hydraulic Pressure:
Injuries caused by hydraulic oil infecting the body Hazardous toxic effect of hydraulic oil Contact with hot hydraulic oil Explosions in hydraulic system, hose and pipelines
What are High Pressure Infected Injuries?
The fluid under pressure pierces the skin tissue and enters the body and reaches the body tissues. This substance, which is infected into the body, quickly passes through the skin tissue; it goes deep into the nerve cells and hand / body cavities. A pinhole-shaped leak in the hydraulic hose causes the toxic oil to run out at a speed of 180m / s under high pressure. This is almost close to the speed of the bullet from the gun.
How Much Pressure Is Dangerous For Work Safety?
10 Bar and Above Pressures are Dangerous for Work Safety.
With Material Infection: Grease / Mineral Oils / Hydraulic Fluids / Paint / Thinner Increased fibrous connective tissue between cells When the tissues rot and die The painful burning sensation and swelling in the infected area within a few hours are affected by substances such as Grease, Hydraulic Oil. It creates a feeling of pain and burning in the infected area within a day or two.
RESULT = KANGREN !!!!!!
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PROTECT?
The answer is very simple, just take a few minutes to do the following.
1. Only experienced people trained in this field should intervene in the hydraulic system.
2. The person who will interfere with hydraulic system malfunction must wear all protective clothing.
3. Valves in Hydraulic System should be placed in Neutral position.
4. The hydraulic cylinders are checked to see if they are under load and the cylinders under load are placed in the neutral position.
5. Hydraulic system is stopped and all switches are checked.
6. Manometers in the hydraulic system are checked one by one to make sure that the pressure values are “0”.
7. Since hydraulic cylinders are moving parts, necessary measures must be taken to prevent the equipment connected to the cylinder from moving before removing the hoses attached to this line.
