There Is Too Much Noise In The Hydraulic System
PROBLEM-SOLVING
Fat is low. Fill enough oil.
The oil is too thick. Drain the oil, fill the oil correctly.
The filter is dirty. Clean or replace.
Suction line is narrow. Expand.
Suction line is blocked. Clean.
The breather cap in the hydraulic tank is clogged. Clean or replace.
The oil is frothy. Drain the system and add non-foaming oil.
The filter is small. Replace it with the larger one.
The coupling is off the axis. Bring the coupling between the pump and drive shaft to the axis.
The pump sucks air from the shaft or suction pipe. Add oil to suspicious places, pay attention to the sound of the pump and tighten any leaks.
The pump is too fast. Check the maximum speed of the pump, reduce the pump speed or choose a larger pump.
Worn or broken pump parts.
Contact Hidroman.
Foaming in the Hydraulic System
PROBLEM-SOLVING
Wrong oil. Drain and fill with the correct oil.
The oil level is low. Complete.
Tank design is wrong. Make anti-foaming design.
Suction line is taking air. Tighten all connections.
Hydraulic Oil Level Continuously Drops
PROBLEM-SOLVING
Tank oil level decreases. There is a leak, check the system.
The pump rotates in the opposite direction. Stop immediately and change the direction of rotation.
Oil is warming up. If the tank is small, enlarge it or install a radiator.
There is an internal leak outside the pump. Locate it and prevent leakage.
The pump does not work.
a) There is air in the suction of the system. Tighten the connections.
b) The oil is too thick. Drain the system and fill with suitable oil.
c) The system is not neutral. Open valve on pump pressure line or install bleed valve.
Hydraulic Pump Does Not Pressure
PROBLEM-SOLVING
The safety valve is not set. Set with manometer.
Safety valve is missing. It may be worn (It can be removed by grinding or replace).
The safety valve spring is broken. Replace.
The oil has difficulty returning to the tank. The control valve should be neutral. Repair the missed valve or cylinder.
Hydraulic System Overheats
PROBLEM-SOLVING
There is an abrasive in the oil. Drain the system, install a new filter, fill with new and correct oil. The oil must pass through a 10 micron filter, run the system for 10 hours, drain the oil again, fill the new filter and fill the new oil.
The oil is too thin. Put the right oil.
Running the pump at high pressure continuously. Adjust your safety valve to the working pressure of your machine.
Working at high pressure and cycle continuously. Reduce pressure and speed.
The drive shaft and the pump are not connected in their axis and drive the balance. Connect the drive shaft and the pump on the axis, check the coupling and the belts.
Air is stuck in the system. Bleed the system.
Hydraulic Pump Power Is Insufficient
Worn parts reduce pump capacity. Repair or replace pump
There is air in the system. Bleed the system.
There is a leak in the control valve or cylinder. Repair or replace control valve. Replace the cylinder seals. Check the drum surface for wear and replace if necessary.
The pump is operating improperly.
a) The pump accelerates when the oil slowly warms up during the first run. Put the oil at the appropriate thick viscosity of the oil.
b) The pump slows down when the oil warms up quickly in the first run. Put the oil at the appropriate thin viscosity of the oil.
Hydraulic Oil Overheats
PROBLEM-SOLVING
The oil is too thick. Empty the system, add suitable oil.
Fine oil has been added for the pump to run in hot. Drain the system and add suitable oil.
Dirty oil. Put clean oil.
Dirt has entered the safety valve. Remove the safety valve, clean it and check the filter.
Relief valve incorrectly adjusted. Set it right.
The pump is worn. Replace the worn parts or pump.
Safety valve is missing or not working. Repair or replace your safety valve.
Not tightened at pump torque (friction occurs). Contact Hidroman
The hose or valves of the system are small. Normal ones should be worn.
There are jams and excessive bends in the lines. Oil lines should be comfortable and with proper flow.
PUMP DOES NOT ENOUGH POWER AND SPEED WHEN USED AS A MOTOR
Relief valve incorrectly adjusted. Set the valve correctly.
The safety valve remains open. Unscrew the safety valve, remove dirt from under the ball or piston, check the filters.
Return line of the oil is blocked. Check the control valve, it must be in neutral or the return line must be open.
Pump pressure and flow are insufficient. Measure and adjust the pump output.
The pump drive is not adjusted. Bring the belt or coupling to the axis, check the pump bolts.
ENGINE CREATES OVER PRESSURE (When the pump is used as an engine)
When the pump is used as a motor, if the motor is overloaded; these overpressure seals detonate the body, hoses, and break the drive shaft. Therefore, check the engine. When this control is not used, if the quality control valve is not used, dangerous and important damage occurs. Because if the standard control valve turns to neutral, if it turns the engine to the start or stop position, excessive pressure occurs.
