Zinc Nickel Plated
Nickel content 12% - 15% It is the most effective anti-corrosion coating today that does not contain Chromium-6. Application of chromium-6-containing types of surface coatings is prohibited within the EU. ( September 2017 ) The main reason for this ban is that Chromium-6 component is allergen, carcinogenic and poisonous in terms of human health. Another reason is to prevent possible damage to the environment.

ZnNi coating has gained a strong position in the market of carbon steel pipe fittings. It replaces applications that have expired and meets all the conditions specified in EU Standards. ( EU directive No. 2000/53/EG ). The use of ZnNi coated products is increasing rapidly as many end users prefer ZnNi coated products instead of Chromium-6 coated products, which are banned without waiting for the end of their usage period. These test results show that ZnNi coating has a remarkable corrosion resistance compared to A3B coating.
Mounting features With the special coating method applied on the threads of the nuts produced in accordance with Hidroman standards, the frictional damages that may occur on the coating on the tooth surfaces are minimized. This method has been used for a long time in A3B coatings as well. Due to corrosion, it is not possible for the torque applied during assembly and disassembly to remain at the same values. This situation causes negative effects such as damage to the coating on the teeth and a decrease in corrosion resistance.

Painting ZnNi coated products can be painted using industrial paint. Currently, many machine manufacturers apply this process.
However, in cases where the necessary test data for the paint is not available, we recommend that the paint be tested and applied.
